Beef Dip Sliders

Whether you’re feeding the kids or the whole block, these Beef Dip Sliders are easy to prepare and taste scrumptious! With just a few ingredients you can have these sliders on the table for a light lunch or a party lunch!

Beef Dip Sliders

This week’s Sunday Supper is all about pull apart sliders.  There’s so many ways to make these deliciously small sandwiches.  You can fill them with any kind of deli meat, chicken nuggets, fish strips, and even some simple cheese and spices.  They’re perfectly versatile and perfectly delicious!

Now, the sliders I’m used to are from White Castle.  I grew up eating those cheeseburger and fish sliders.  Along with those delicious sliders they had the best onion rings.  I’m totally team onion rings.  Don’t get me wrong!  I love me some fries, but really good onion rings totally have my heart.

However, this post isn’t about those sliders and it isn’t about those onion rings.  This post is about pull apart sliders.  You know, those dinner roll/slider bun sandwiches all baked together with delicious meats and cheese.  They’re brushed with a delicious butter sauce with herbs and spices and then baked until golden and melted.

I’m drooling.  Are you drooling?

When I saw the theme for this week, I knew what I had to make.  Whenever we go out to eat, if there’s a beef dip on the menu, I can almost guarantee that the hubs will order it.  That and French onion soup and he’s set for lunch or dinner.  Those are his favorites every time we go out for lunch.

And I can’t say I blame him!  They’re a perfect pair.  The seasoned beef on toasted bread with some cheese, then there’s the rich onion flavored broth topped with a crouton and cheese.  What’s not to love about that kind of meal?  So, it was a no brainer that I had to make a beef dip slider in homage of that sandwich we both love to eat.

You see that garlic butter on top of the buns?  That makes for the most amazing flavor on a slider you could even imagine.  It enhances the flavor of the roast beef in the slider and the provolone cheese that’s on top.  It even brings out the sweet flavor of the caramelized onion.  A good garlic butter brushed on top of the buns really makes for a scrumptious slider.

French Dip Sliders

I love this casserole dish.  It’s so pretty and just a little smaller than my regular one.  It’s the perfect size for 12 slider buns.  I received it as part of an apple event last year.  I’ve used it more than my usual casserole dish for baked oatmeal, lasagna, and other recipes.  It’s really the perfect size for us.

Yes, I know this post isn’t about the casserole dish.  It’s about these delicious beef dip sliders.  These beef dip sliders that are packed with delicious roast beef flavor.  Then they’re topped with sweet, caramelized onions and provolone cheese.  All the ingredients of a good beef dip sandwich, right?

French Dip Sliders

Of course, your typical beef dip sandwich doesn’t have a garlic butter drizzle on top to make that bun taste even more amazing.  I wish it did.  Maybe I should make that recipe and share it.  That’s an idea!  Hmm…..  That would only work if you baked the sandwiches before you served them.  Which I could totally do!

I know.  This is about sliders.  Melty, cheesy, delicious sliders.  Ones that are easy to prepare for a crowd!  Sliders that are easy to prepare for tournament parties.  Because, you know, that basketball tournament is going on right now, right?  Are you watching?  My brackets are shot.

Anyway.

Beef Dip Sliders

You can’t tell me you’re not drooling.  Heck, I’m drooling!!  Those onions, that beef, the cheese, and the garlic butter on top.  All in a bite sized little sandwich!  They’re perfect for game day parties, lunch for the family, even a brunch!  Yes.  These would be perfect for a brunch!  I would totally fill my plate if these were on a brunch buffet.  Just saying.

Sliders are so versatile.  You could easily swap the beef and provolone out with turkey and gouda or ham and swiss.  In fact, I’m going to make some ham and swiss sliders for lunch tomorrow.  If you have left over corned beef, you could make reuben sliders.  Of course, I never have corned beef left over.

Beef Dip Sliders

Who wouldn’t love a plate of these delicious beef dip sliders?  Your family will ask for them time and time again.  I know, because my husband said so.  He said, “We could have those again and again!”  That means it’s a delicious recipe and everyone should try them.

Have you made your own sliders?  What’s your favorite type of slider?  If you’re looking for a few more slider recipes, try some of the Sunday Supper recipes below.
